At last, the Two Peas arrived in Vietnam, with Ho Chi Minh City (also known as Saigon) being their first stop of what would be a month’s long stay in the motherland of Pea Anabelle. This was going to be a time full of food adventures as they were so blessed with a superb chef as an auntie, who fed them extremely well during their stay, as well as so many delicious banh mi stalls nearby that were visited quite frequently (who wouldn’t with Banh Mi’s selling for under $1??!!). Naturally, when in Vietnam, every day started with a Café Sua Da (traditional Vietnamese Coffee) and from there the Two Peas ate their ways through bowls of Bun Bo Hue to Pho to finger-licking-good Fried Chicken and Rice to vast varieties of fresh fruits and many other delightful Vietnamese specialties and drinks. Their tummies were in foodie heaven. More so, because they got to share their culinary discoveries with great friends!!
As a travel goal, the Two Peas wanted to meet as many friends around this wonderful world as possible. Thankfully, timing was on their side, as two good friends would also be in Saigon during the same time. Yay, finally some familiar faces!
