Ho Tram

We stayed at the Ho Tram Beach Boutique Resort & Spa just a couple hours drive from Saigon.  We did not pay for this weekend retreat, otherwise we would have stayed somewhere less expensive!!  It was a nice, quiet place with lots of big trees and little ponds all around the grounds.  It was a secluded place away from the other resorts around the area.  The resort included a pool, spa, extensive breakfast buffet, restaurant for lunch and dinner,  as well as a bar for drinks and food on right on the sand, which was a nice place to relax and enjoy the ocean breeze.

Our place was a big two bedroom unit with a large common area that had a couch, chairs and a couple of tables.  Unfortunately, there was no A/C in the common area, which made it more difficult to hang out as it was hot and humid during our time of visit.  Each bedroom had A/C, small refrigerators, big bathrooms and mosquito netting around the beds.  The netting was MUCH needed since none of the windows closed completely, allowing plenty of mosquitoes in.  There was also a safe to keep belongings in when out and about.  Bathroom amenities were in full effect and came with just about everything needed.  WIFI was also included.  Some bonus items included sandals, candles/incense (to keep away mosquitoes) and a beach bag to carry your things with you to the beach.

We did not pay for this unit, but it was about $80 per night.  For two bedrooms, only a few steps from the beach, and all the amenities that were included, it was a fair price.

It was a very quiet, remote Beach Front Resort, just a couple hours from Saigon.  Very spacious with nothing else around really.  Perfect for a weekend get away full of relaxation.
